Paul Schoppert is a graphic designer with a BFA from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design. His work includes identity systems, websites, publications, and motion graphics. He maintains an independent studio practice producing both art and client work.

A periodical publication focused on the discussion of design education. The first issue "Obsacles" features original interveiws with Ramon Tejada [RISD], Kali Nikitas [OTIS], John Caserta [RISD], Laura Gordon [RCA], Paul Soulellis [RISD], and Erik Brandt [MCAD]. The first issue of Taking Form discusses obstacles in design education such as the high cost of a degree, but also the formal obstacles, or limitations used to define a design problem. The editorial process and design of this publication was done in collaboration with Kurt Austin.
